Remington 512 Sportmaster bolt action rifle, .22 S/L/LR cal., 25" barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut one-piece pistol grip stock, replacement dovetailed blade front and replacement standard U notch rear sights (missing elevator), color case hardened bolt and trigger, clear factory markings. The rifle is topped with a Weaver N2 side mount, rings and a Weaver Marksman fixed 4x rifle scope with a fine wire reticle, providing clear optics. The adjustment knob on the right side is damaged. Mfg. in 1951, the rifle is in very good overall condition, retaining original finish on the tubular magazine, with the barrel having gone to brown patina. The receiver and trigger guard shows thinning finish with edge wear. The stock is in fine overall condition with light storage marks. The buttstock ends with a checkered hard-rubber butt plate, providing a 13.75" LOP. The bore is fine with sharp rifling. The action functions smoothly with a crisp trigger. (C&R).
