Custom Mauser 98 bolt action rifle, .30-06 cal., 22" barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivels and leather sling, ramped blade front sight with a receiver sight at the rear, receiver shows faint "dou" marking on the front ring. The rifle is in fine overall condition as sporterized, retaining 97-98% of an old quality reblued finish with wear at the muzzle and light marks. There is scattered light pinprick pitting under the finish on the front ring. The stock is in fine condition with light scuffs and scratches. The buttstock ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 13.25" LOP. The bore is fine with sharp rifling. The action functions well with a good trigger. (C&R).
