Ithaca M-49R Repeater lever action rifle, .22 LR cal., 20" barrel with a full-length magazine, blue finish, machine checkered walnut two-piece straight grip stock, dovetailed brass tipped blade front and standard U notch rear sights, clear factory markings. Mfg. 1965-1971, the rifle is in near fine overall condition, retaining 90-95% thinning finish with wear at the muzzle and some light surface rust on the mag tube. The receiver shows edge wear with scrapes and scuffs consistent with field use. The bolt has drifted to plum with age. The stock is in near fine condition with minor indentations and marks. The buttstock ends with a ribbed plastic Ithaca butt plate, providing a 14" LOP. The bore is fine with well-defined rifling. The action functions well and locks up securely. (C&R).
