Sporterized U.S. Springfield Armory bolt action rifle in .30/40 Krag caliber w/ a 22" round barrel w/ added ramp King-brand front sight displays ~75% blued finish to the gun’s parts w/ a polished bolt. The hardwood stock is good w/ pleasing grain patterns & considerable remaining oil finish. The butt trap is empty of any cleaning tools. There are two approx. 2" old fissures (one on each side) of the back of the butt stock that do not appear to currently affect the soundness of the stock. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore is bright w/ light rifling. Comes w/ an overall good condition adjustable military leather sling. (C&R).
