Marlin Model 70P Papoose semi-auto takedown rifle, .22 LR cal., 16.25" barrel, blue finish, smooth hardwood one-piece pistol grip stock, ramped blade front and standard U notch rear sights, (4) magazines 2 5-round blue steel and 2 10-round stainless steel, clear factory markings. The lot includes the Marlin factory red nylon soft case, rings and Barska 4x illuminated duplex reticle (Needs battery) rifle scope and instruction manual. The rifle is in very good overall condition with scrapes, scuffs and wear at the muzzle. The receiver shows scrapes, scratches and thinning finish. The stock is in very good condition with scuffs, indentations and marks consistent with field use. The bore is fine with well-defined rifling. The action functions well. The Model 70P was only mfg. from 1986-1994. (Modern).
