Winchester "U.S."-marked Model 1897 desirable rare solid frame pump action shotgun displaying ~85% blued finish to the gun’s parts in 12 gauge cylinder choked w/ a 20.5"barrel plus a ventilated hand guard & bayonet lug (no bayonet included). The hardwood semi-pistol grip butt stock is excellent showing beautiful grain patterns & three stampings including 1. "WRA" over "MRCAC" over "1918" over "P" on the bottom of the grip; 2. "M2" over "M274" over "XM162" bottom left side of the rear butt stock and 3. Two dot marks on both sides of the number "155204" at the top rear left side of the butt stock. The forend is also excellent. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore is near excellent. Comes w/ an adjustable tan woven military sling in excellent condition. (C&R).
