U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1899 Krag bolt action carbine in .30-40 Krag caliber w/ a 22" barrel displays ~85% blued finish to the gun’s parts w/ a polished bolt & traces of case color on the top of the butt plate. The finely grained stock/handguard are very good to near fine w/ indistinguishable old four letters scratched into the right side of the butt stock. There is also a distinct "JSA/1900" cartouche on the left side of stock above the trigger group plus circle "P" & "u" behind the trigger guard. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore/rifling are near excellent. Comes w/ a cleaning rod in the butt trap. (C&R).
