An exceptionally scarce Colt Pony semi-auto pistol in .380 caliber w/ a 3.25" barrel displays ~99% blued finish to the gun’s parts w/ a polished barrel, trigger, hammer & cocking bar. The two-piece checkered walnut grips are excellent w/ Rampant Colt logo silver colored discs inset in each grip panel. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore/rifling are excellent. Comes w/ a near fine condition factory two-piece wood grain cardboard box w/ end label numbered to this gun. NOTE: According to included documentation, this is one of less than 50 Colt Pony pistols ever produced. The parts for these pistols reportedly were produced by Firearms International Corp. on leftover machinery from the Colt Cub project, with the parts being subsequently sent to Colt for finishing & assembly.
