Savage Model 1907, rare nickel-finished, semi-auto pistol in .380 caliber with a 4.25" barrel. Displays approx. 99% bright nickel finish to the gun’s parts with a blued magazine. The two-piece, natural-material, white and yellow smooth grips are excellent overall. Markings are sharp, action crisp, and the bore and rifling are excellent. Comes with a copy of an October 24, 2025 Cody Firearms Museum letter describing their records on this pistol as follows: "Type: Pistol; Date Accepted & shipped: January 08,1914; Sold to Ely and (illegible); Date Accepted: October 01, 1914; Returned by Sold to Edw. Tryon on February 28, 1915, 925-1; Spec’l Grade; Date Shipped: September 21, 1917". Also comes with copies of several articles and historical information including a handwritten tag by the consignor that states "Nickel (rare) Savage #7672B .380 (rare); Probably after-market grips; About 10,000 .380 made; approx. 210,000 .32 made; See page 50 of Brower’s Savage Pistols; made about 1914. See page 94". Also comes with a fine condition, two-piece reproduction box. (C&R).
