Ruger No.1-V Varminter single shot rifle, .22-250 cal., 24" heavy barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut two-piece stock with sling swivels and painted leather rifle sling, no sights, Farquharson falling block single shot action, clear factory markings. The rifle is topped with two-piece bases, rings and a Bushnell Banner 4 x 12 variable power rifle scope with an adjustable objective, providing clear, bright optics. The top adjustment knob is damaged and missing the cap. Mfg. in 1981, the rifle is in fine overall condition retaining 95-96% toning finish with light wear at the muzzle, scuffs, scrapes and erosion on the barrel. The receiver shows light edge wear and storage marks. The stock is in very good condition as refinished with scrapes and dents. An extra coat of varnish was added during the period of use. The buttstock ends with an added 1" extension and ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 14" LOP. The bore is fine with well-defined rifling. The action functions well and locks up securely.
