Mfg. in 1909, the rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining 60-70% thinning finish with wear at the muzzle, scratches and edge wear. The barrel shows sharp edges with scattered areas of surface erosion and light surface rust. The receiver displays considerable original finish drifting to dark patina with stronger finish on the left side. The hammer and lever show muted color case hardened finish with brighter colors in the protected areas. The stock is in very good condition with indentations, impressions and bruising consistent with carry and use. The buttstock ends with a smooth crescent butt plate, providing a 13" LOP. The bore is good with light erosion and frosting in the grooves. The action functions well and locks up tightly. (C&R).
