Colt Single Action Army revolver in .38 W.C.F. caliber w/ a 4.75" barrel displaying ~95% of an old re-nickel finish to the gun’s parts. The front sight has been replaced. The factory black checkered two-piece gutta percha grips are overall fine w/ an old approx. 1/4" x 1/4" mar to the lower area of the right grip panel. Markings are mostly visible, serial numbers match, the action is crisp & the bore is good w/ visible rifling & scattered erosion. Comes w/ a beautiful hand-made hardwood display case showing a black padded interior plus a professionally-produced metal oval attached to the inside of the case’s lid proclaiming ".45 CALIBER" (Note: incorrect as this gun is in .38 W.C.F. caliber) COLT PEACEMAKER, SERIAL NUMBER 251375 (Note: SN is 251575) WAS MANUFACTURED IN HARTFORD CONNECTICUT IN 1904".
