Colt U.S. Army Model 1909 double action six shot revolver in .45 caliber w/ a 5.5" barrel displays ~75% blued finish to the gun’s parts. The hammer & trigger show niter blued finish w/ the hammer also polished on both sides. The two-piece walnut grips are very good to near fine w/ an "R.A.C." stamp on the bottom of the left grip panel. Markings are sharp (including "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" under the barrel plus "R.A.C." stampings also on the underside of the barrel & right top rear side of the frame), action works but is sluggish in opening the swing out cylinder. The bore/rifling are excellent. (C&R).
