Belgian Browning Lightning O/U Shotgun, 12 gauge, 28" vent rib barrels with 2 3/4" chambers Skeet/Skeet chokes, filed rib and white dot front sight, checkered walnut two-piece round knob pistol grip stock, finely engraved receiver, auto ejectors, single gold trigger, trigger guard with embossed gold "McM" monogram, clear factory markings, Marked "MADE IN BELGIUM" on the top right barrel. The lot includes a Browning brown naugahyde luggage case with faux fur interior in very good condition. Mfg. in 1963, the shotgun is in fine overall condition, retaining 95-96% thinning finish with light wear at the muzzles and minor marks along the barrels. The receiver displays 25-30% coverage in fine scroll and border engraving. The receiver shows light edge wear and minor storage marks only. The bottom tang shows thinning finish drifting to gray patina from use. The stock is in near excellent condition with minor indentations and handling marks, showing fine checkering detail. The buttstock ends with a ventilated rubber White Line pad, providing a 14.5" LOP. The bores are near excellent and the action remains crisp on this desirable, early Belgian Browning. (C&R).
