Winchester Model 1894 lever action takedown rifle, 30 W.C.F. cal., 26" octagon barrel with full-length magazine, blue finish, smooth walnut two-piece straight grip stock, factory dovetailed blade front and standard elevator U notch rear sights, clear factory markings with sharp Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver. Mfg. in 1918, the rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining 90-92% flaking finish with light wear at the muzzle, scratches and edge wear along the barrel. The magazine shows wear from the takedown mechanism. The receiver displays considerable flaking finish drifting to gray with scratches and edge wear. The stock is in very good condition with numerous scrapes, scuffs and dents in the buttstock. The buttstock ends with a smooth steel crescent butt plate, providing a 13.25" LOP. The bore is near fine with shallow rifling and light erosion. The action is crisp and takedown mechanism functions correctly. (C&R).
