WWII Soviet Tokarev SVT-40 semi-auto rifle, 7.62 x 54R cal., 24" barrel w/ brake, blue finish, smooth hardwood military stock with sling swivels, cartouches and smooth blue steel butt plate, hooded pin front and military tangent rear sights, detachable 10-round blue steel box magazine, all-matching visible serial numbers, bolt has gone to plum with age, clear factory markings with Soviet star on the receiver, dated 1941. Mfg. in 1941, the rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining 90-95% thinning finish with light wear and thinning finish on the ventilated handguard. The magazine is correct with moderate surface erosion. The stock is in fine condition with light indentations, scuffs and handling marks consistent with service use. There are numerous cartouches with the matching serial number stamped into the left side of the buttstock. The bore is very good with light erosion and well-defined rifling. The action functions well and locks up securely on this scarce WWII Soviet battle rifle. (C&R).
