Colt U.S. Property-marked Army Model 1911 semi-auto pistol in .45 caliber w/ a 5" polished barrel plus a two-toned magazine displays ~85% military finish to the gun’s parts. The two-piece checkered diamond style walnut grips are also excellent. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore/rifling are near excellent. Comes w/ a handwritten note from consignor stating "1911 Colt .45 blue #288114 per Clawson shipped 5/6/18 page 388 Springfield Armory "Last of consecutive numbered shipments". (C&R).
