FN Browning Model 1922 German "WaA140" Waffenamt proofed semi-auto pistol in .32 ACP caliber w/ a 4.25" barrel displays ~80% blued finish, showing light pinprick pitting on the barrel and right side of the slide. The two-piece checkered black Factory hard-rubber grips are fine with some flattening of the checkering and warpage on the left panel. Markings are sharp with numerous "WaA140" Waffenamts and Heer marks on the left side of the slide, frame and barrel. The action is crisp, the bore and rifling are near excellent. NOTE: According to some experts the FN Browning Model 1922 was the most common handgun in German Service during WW II, outnumbering Walther PP/PPK’s by a more than 2-to-1 margin. It also reportedly was adopted by military and police forces across Europe and into the Americas. (C&R).
