Colt Model 1908 hammerless pocket semi-auto pistol in .380 caliber w/ a 3.75" barrel displays ~98% military parkerized finish to the gun’s parts plus a blued finish to the magazine. The factory two-piece checkered walnut grips are near excellent w/ Rampant Colt silver colored discs inset at the top of each grip panel. Markings are clear (including a military "P" on the left side of the frame behind the trigger & the .32 caliber marking previously on the slide removed), action crisp & the bore/rifling are excellent. Comes w/ a factory letter dated May 3, 1994, confirming serial number, caliber, barrel length, (finish "Blue"), Type of Stocks "Not Listed", shipped to Albany Hardware & Iron Company, Albany, New York, date of shipment: August 17, 1931, Number of Same Type Guns in Shipment: 2. Further research by the successful bidder may reveal additional history of this Colt. (C&R).
