U.S. H. Aston single shot percussion pistol in .52 caliber w/ an 8.5" barrel displays an even bright patina to the gun’s parts w/ brass trigger guard/backstrap & brass forward barrel retaining unit. The hardwood stock is near fine w/ a "WAT" inspector’s cartouche on the left side showing pleasing grain patterns plus scattered light marrs/scratches from handling, carry & storage. Markings are sharp, (including a "U.S." over "SK" over "P") stamped to the rear top round of the barrel adjacent to the percussion nipple; action crisp & bore/rifling are near good w/ light/moderate erosion throughout. (Pre-98; No FFL Required).
