French production (marked "SVW" over "45") P-38 double action pistol in 9mm caliber w/ a 5" barrel displays ~95% blued military finish to the gun’s parts. The black grooved two-piece grips are near fine w/ scattered light scratches/mars to both grip panels from handling, carry & storage. Markings are sharp including a five-point star stamped on the right side flat of the slide, action is crisp & the bore/rifling are near fine w/ scattered light erosion. Comes w/ a black leather military flap holster in near fine condition w/ one extra magazine. The back of the holster is marked "P 38", "42" plus a crisp proof of a spread eagle over "WaA 926". Interestingly, there is also a lightly scratched name "GILLISON" on the front flap of the holster. (C&R).
