Vintage Steyr Zephyr bolt action sporter, .22 LR cal., 20" barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut one-piece Mannlicher full-stock with blued nose piece, grip cap, beaded cheek piece, sling swivels, period leather rifle sling, hooded brass tipped blade front and folding two-leaf U notch rear sights, 10-round blue steel magazine, side mounted release, clear factory markings, with Austrian proofs on the left side of the barrel and receiver, dated "53", in both locations, marked "Austria". Mfg. in 1953, the rifle is in near excellent overall condition with wear at the muzzle, light scratches and scuffs. The receiver shows modest high point edge wear. The trigger guard is engraved with "V.M. SOLT", showing light edge wear. The stock is in near excellent condition with indentations and compressions. The buttstock ends with a ribbed hard-rubber butt plate, providing a 13.75" LOP. The bolt is marked with the matching serial number at the handle base. The bore is bright with near excellent rifling. The action functions smoothly on this lightly used, vintage Zephyr. (C&R).
