U.S. Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor single shot saddlering carbine in .45-70 caliber w/ a 22" barrel displays a pleasing matte blued finish & brown patina to the gun’s parts plus gray patina to the trapdoor. The hardwood stock is near fine w/ beautiful grain patterns. There is an expertly accomplished dime-sized old repair on the left side wrist area behind the saddlering bar. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore is clear w/ lightly visible rifling. (Pre-98; No FFL Required).
