Colt Model 1891 swing out cylinder double action six shot revolver in .38 caliber w/ a 4.5" barrel displaying ~98% of a heavy re-nickel finish to the gun’s parts. The factory checkered two-piece hardwood grips are replacements & in excellent condition. Markings are mostly visible, the action is crisp & the bore is good w/ visible rifling & scattered erosion. Comes w/ a beautiful hand-made hardwood display case showing a black padded interior plus a professionally-produced metal oval attached to the inside of the case’s lid proclaiming "COLT DOUBLE ACTION SERIAL NUMBER 28126 MFG. DATE 1891" over "COLT". (C&R).
