Sporterized U.S. Model 1917 chambered in .30 cal with approximately 40-50% of its original metal finish remaining. The wood stock and furniture exhibit mild to moderate handling wear, while the bore appears to have been well maintained. The barrel shows noticeable exterior wear consistent with use and storage. Chambering was verified using a .30-06 Springfield snap cap, which chambered and extracted smoothly. The rifle is equipped with an Orco 4×32 scope. Overall, this rifle is in good condition; however, it should be properly inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing to verify its safety and proper function. (C&R).
