U.S. Model 1860 Cavalry Sword/Saber w/ metal scabbard shows a blade length of 35" w/ an overall length of 41". The slightly curved blade is overall good showing scattered wear to the front portion of the blade from use. The brass guard/pommel have a pleasing gold colored patina while the grip is wire wrapped over brown leather covering. The scabbard is fair + & retains its two ring hangers. The maker of the sword’s marking on the left side of the hilt has been worn off. The right side hilt marking is partially visible w/ "U.S" & "1862" visible. There appears to also be a partial "G.S." present. (Non-Gun; No FFL Required).
