Remington Model 700 SPS bolt action rifle, .223 Rem cal., 26" heavy barrel, matte blue finish, textured synthetic one-piece pistol grip scope with a ventilated fore end, no sights, clear factory markings. The rifle is topped with Weaver two-piece bases, rings and a Leupold fixed 12x rifle scope with an adjustable objective and duplex reticle, providing clear, bright optics. The scope shows toning plum finish with age and a prior owners DL# etched into the left side. The rifle is in excellent overall condition, retaining 99%+ factory finish, showing little use. The stock is in excellent condition with only minor storage marks. The buttstock ends with a solid rubber recoil pad, providing a 13.5" LOP. The bore is minty bright with excellent rifling. The action functions smoothly with a crisp trigger. The lot includes a test target from the consignor demonstrating the accuracy of the rifle with the included hand loading data. (Modern).
