Remington Model 742 Woodsmaster semi-auto rifle, .30-06 cal., 22" barrel, blue finish, basketweave impressed checkered two-piece pistol grip stock with an ebony fore end tip and grip cap, sling swivels and tooled leather sling, ramped blade front and adjustable U notch rear sights, 3-round detachable blue steel box magazine, clear factory markings. The rifle is topped with a one-piece Weaver base, rings and a Weaver Marksman 3 x 9 variable power rifle scope with a fine wire reticle, providing clear, bright optics. Mfg. in 1974, the rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 97%-98% finish with light handling marks only. The stock is in excellent condition with minor storage marks. The buttstock ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 14.25" LOP. The bore is minty bright with excellent rifling. The action functions well. (C&R).
