Marlin Model 336 RC lever action carbine, .35 Rem cal., 20" Micro-Groove barrel with a full-length magazine, blue finish, smooth walnut two-piece pistol grip stock, ramped brass tipped blade front and standard U notch rear sights, receiver drilled and tapped with the tap holes filled, clear factory markings with a sharp Marlin "JM" proof on the right side of the barrel at the breech. Mfg. in 1959, the carbine is in fine overall condition, retaining 90-95% thinning finish with wear at the muzzle, scratches and light surface rust on the magazine tube due to poor storage. The receiver and bottom metal show edge wear and storage marks. The lever displays light edge wear and fine scratches. The stock is in near fine condition with indentations and scrapes, worse on the butt. The Marlin "Bullseye" is missing from the underside of the buttstock, which ends with a checkered hard-rubber Marlin butt plate, providing a 13.5" LOP. The bore is fine with well-defined rifling. The action functions smoothly and locks up securely. (C&R).
