Civil War era Sharps New Model 1863 lever action single shot saddlering carbine in .52 caliber w/ a 22" barrel displays a pleasing matte blued finish to the gun’s parts w/ traces of case color to the receiver & sideplate. The hardwood butt stock is very good plus showing beautiful grain patterns, scattered old mars & scratches from handling, carry & storage with a partially visible inspector’s cartouche on the left side. The matching hardwood forend is also very good + w/ scattered old mars & scratches. Markings are good, action crisp & the bore/rifling are near fine. (Pre-98; No FFL Required).
