U.S. Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor single shot rifle in .45-70 caliber w/ a 32.5" barrel displays ~95% blued finish to the gun’s parts with ~90% vivid case colors to the trapdoor. The hardwood full stock is excellent w/ beautiful grain patterns & majority of rich oil finish remaining present. There is a clear circle "P" proof behind the lower trigger guard tang and a clear "SWP" over "1883" cartouche on the left side of the wrist area above the trigger group. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore/rifling are excellent. (Pre-98; No FFL Required).
