English SMTE III bolt action short magazine military rifle in .303 British caliber w/ a 25" barrel displays ~75% matte blued finish to the gun’s parts. The hardwood stock is very good overall showing beautiful grain patterns & an old replaced brighter-finished disc set into the right side rear area. The forward two handguards are also very good yet also lighter than the rear handguard. A copper-colored butt plate is present; the butt trap is empty. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore/rifling are excellent. Comes w/ a Remington marked "1907" over "9 15" British proofed bayonet & leather scabbard plus a Modern commercial tan adjustable leather sling. (C&R).
